Hector is a 19-year-old student with Autism at the Easterseals Culinary Arts High School program.

Shakinah is an 18-year-old young lady who has been attending our Academy since she was in middle school.

When Jayden first started at Easterseals last summer, it was hard for him to enter the classroom without crying; he had difficulty separating from his parents. Although he was nearly 2 years old, he struggled to walk independently.

Esteban (13) & Samuel (15) attend ESSF Culinary Arts middle school & high school (for children with disabilities) as well as the aftercare program sponsored by The Children’s Trust. Therapeutic Robotic Pets offer comfort to Martha during the COVID-19 pandemic. With assistance from Easterseals South Florida, Martha was able to receive her companion from the Florida Department of Elder Affairs to increase her well-being.

At ESSF accessibility is a priority. Our staff work to find creative solutions to provide service to our seniors with memory & cognitive issues. Every day we are prepared to fight new challenges. We make sure that all our seniors are healthy & safe. Over 2,452 reassurance calls, have enabled us to identify needs & work to fulfill them.

A once quiet and non-participatory boy, Dylan is now extremely social with classmates and teachers and displays joy in learning.
